Tests and diagnosis: Dick's experience
A change in the loo, a blood test, a call from the doctor. Dick's story began with things he noticed and questions he needed answered. In Episode 1, he remembers leaving the dinner table more often and struggling to get started at the footy. He then describes the PSA tests and the referral to a urologist. Episode 2 picks up at the specialist's rooms, including his examination and biopsy. Episode 5 returns to the fear and embarrassment around asking for help. This page brings those conversations together so you can follow his account in order or go straight to a particular passage. It cannot tell you what your symptoms or test result mean. Take those questions to your doctor.
